Information and purposes
- Accounts and profiles: internal user IDs, linked sign-in provider information, email addresses, display names, public IDs, and selected profile images, for identification, sign-in, and profiles.
- Games: matches, roles, votes, chats, results, actions, and connection records, for gameplay, history, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
- WaoCha!: posts, replies, images, follows, likes, blocks, feedback, bug reports, and user reports, for community features and operator responses.
- Notifications: preferences and device notification tokens, for requested notifications and service announcements.
- Purchases: user IDs, products, purchase and subscription status, entitlements, and transaction verification information, for Premium access and restoration. Stores manage payment details such as card numbers.
- Devices and usage: IP addresses, device, OS and app versions, advertising identifiers, usage and diagnostic information, for service delivery, advertising, improvements, and abuse prevention.
- Support: contact details and information you provide, for verification, investigation, and replies.
Information visible to others
Player names, profile images, game messages and information, and WaoCha! posts, images, and public profiles are shown to others according to each feature’s visibility. WaoCha! feedback and bug reports are also public to other users. Internal user IDs, authentication information, email addresses, and push tokens are not displayed in public WaoCha! profiles.
External service providers
- Google / Firebase: authentication, data and image storage, notifications, analytics, advertising, and operational support.
- Apple: Apple sign-in, purchases, notifications, and device-based abuse prevention.
- Expo: services such as push notification delivery.
- RevenueCat: purchase and subscription verification and entitlement management.
- Unity Ads and Mintegral: advertising and measurement. Providers used depend on the app version and advertising configuration.
Providers process information needed for the relevant features. Their processing locations may be outside your country. See their linked policies for more information.
Safety and report handling
To prevent abuse when checking online eligibility, the app sends an iOS DeviceCheck token or an Android ANDROID_ID/SSAID to the server. Android identifiers are stored as server-side HMAC values; the original values are not stored.
When reviewing online Werewolf reports, information identifying the reported player, the reason, and relevant chat messages may be sent to Google’s Gemini API for an assessment that assists the operator. WaoCha! uses fixed filters for pre-publication checks.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained only within the scope and for the duration needed for the service, purchase verification, support, reports, abuse prevention, and legal obligations. Account deletion removes sign-in information and deletes or anonymizes WaoCha! public profiles, post text, and images. A marker without the content or author may remain to preserve a conversation.
Account deletion does not automatically erase every past match record or record needed for reports, abuse prevention, audits, or legal obligations. Your choices and security
You can change notification preferences in the app and device settings. Where advertising consent or tracking choices are offered, use those screens or device settings to make your choice. Contact us to discuss access, correction, or deletion of your information.
We use measures such as access controls to reduce unauthorized disclosure or use. No method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.
Minors
WaoCha! is for users aged 13 or older. Minors must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. WaoCha! does not request or store dates of birth or age bands. Contact us with concerns about a minor’s information.
This website and policy updates
This website does not use its own advertising cookies or analytics tools. Its hosting provider may record IP addresses, access times, and similar information when serving pages. Email and external links take you to the service you choose.
We update this policy when features or data practices change. Important changes are announced in the app or on this website where appropriate.
